Q: How much water will be needed to keep 4,000+ saplings alive throughout the summer each year?

A: A lot.

Hence the need for these monsters - two 160,000-litre tanks. And the need to build a secure base/pad on which to position them, next to the enormous shed newly reinforced by the recently laid concrete floor.

Stage 2 of the Forktree Project’s foundations are coming together. Exciting stuff.

Before: the area next to the shed needs to be relandscaped in order to be able to support the tanks.

Preparation: creating a level pad/base for the tanks.

Finally: installing the tanks. These will be a lifeline for the trees throughout the summer.
