SECOND LIFE

It’s a daunting task, but bit by bit we are making inroads into the vast amount of rubble on site.

Whole bricks, once cleaned are neatly piled for storage and reuse further down the track. Broken bricks and rubble are crushed to make aggregate. This brick crusher has enabled us to get started but larger, more powerful machinery is needed to get through the sheer volume we are faced with.

Though labour intensive, the newly liberated aggregate is the perfect addition to the poorly consolidated material that surrounds the shed and will be used for tracks and as a base for the shed floor. If we can help it, nothing will go to waste.
