ROO-PROOF FENCE

We have worked out our planting area for this year - approximately one third of the entire property. Now for the challenge of fencing off this section with high roo fencing to keep the very healthy local kangaroo population away from the tender new saplings.

It seems harsh keeping the kangaroos out but it is clear that we have to - just until the trees are big enough to be less tempting for them.

The job of fencing down the steep slopes of the property has begun - no mean feat, but excavator driver and fencing guru Simon is undaunted. Great to have Simon on the team.
