FIRST SAPLINGS IN POSITION

12 down, 3988 to go - our first saplings have been planted alongside the shed. It’s heavy going planting these saplings due to the compacted construction waste laid down here by the previous owner.

Getting the sapling in the ground is just the first part of the process. Each sapling requires protection from the local kangaroo population, not to mention the wind that whips along this ridgeline - the green corflutes will stand guard over these youngsters until they are big enough to look after themselves.
