NURSERY TAKING SHAPE

A great day’s work in the nursery: nine fruit trees in the ground - apples, pears, nectarines and peaches. Citrus trees (lemon, lime and mandarin) will be planted in a month or two’s time when the ground is warmer.

They don’t look like much more than twigs at the moment, but before too long these trees will take root, grow and start to produce fruit. All part of making Forktree as self-sufficient as possible - off-grid energy, off-grid eating (well, fruit at least).

Many thanks to University of Adelaide and Biology Society volunteers Chris and Kiri for a huge effort.
