the circular economy loop

Another first at The Forktree Project as we complete the circular economy loop for the first time: a batch of the bricks salvaged from the building waste inherited on site and painstakingly cleaned over the last four years (thank you, brick-cleaning volunteers!) is picked up to be used in a landscaping project elsewhere.

How rewarding to know that these bricks will have a new life and will not add to landfill, and that no new bricks have been manufactured for this particular landscaping project. Another brick in the circular economy wall.
