Woodwork from waste

Step by step we are making progress towards setting up the Forktree Project seed nursery with a view to growing our own native seedlings from seed harvested from the handful of mature trees on the property.

Many thanks to volunteer Ralph Ivens who is making potting tables for the nursery out of old pallets - another wonderful recycling story to go with the retaining gabion walls and tracks, both constructed from onsite rubble. Waste not, want not.
