Nature Play SA at The Forktree Project

Term 1 got off to an exciting and inspiring start at The Forktree Project with a day of collaboration and mutual teaching and learning on site between the Forktree Project team and Nature Play SA. We are still buzzing.

It was with pride in our shared values and vision that we showed Nature Play SA around the Forktree Project site, shared with them the Forktree story, what has been achieved over the last five years, and the vision of our rapidly growing education program, and got the team involved in the kinds of sustainability learning activities we lead with visiting students.

And what a treat to receive in return an energising and informative workshop on aspects of nature-based pedagogy. Thank you to all the inspiring members of the Nature Play SA team for their contribution to this.

Two-way teamwork, teaching and learning, planting seeds in soil and minds, both literally and metaphorically! Thank you, Nature Play SA - so much potential for us to work together to increase young people’s active involvement in the protection of nature.
