FEELING GOOD

Great to get a bit of positive feedback - here’s what our young planters and rubble clearers from Annesley Junior School had to say about their day at The Forktree Project:

• ‘I was intrigued about how they used the rubble road and footpath.’

• ‘I was really interested in how they were making the project really sustainable by using everything.’

• ‘I found it so beautiful, that you are correcting a mistake others have made.’

• ‘I found it amazing that you want to do this project on your own.’

• ‘There were so many facts that we learnt.’

When asked by their teacher to sum up their visit in one word, the students offered the following: exciting; inspiring; amazing; tiring; beautiful; epic; extraordinary; good.

We’re pretty happy with that assessment! More importantly, we are thrilled to think that The Forktree Project has hopefully inspired greater environmental awareness in these young minds. After all, our future and the future of the planet is in the hands of the young.
